We traveled upon an airship for several days to reach Thronehold. Once there Alana actually made a contact there with a former Cyran military leader. He had his own boat and with some dealing we managed to get access to a small vessel to move over into enemy territory. I had spent the bulk of our time resting doing paperwork for the rest of the party. At least if we were to get stopped they would have papers to produce and we could avoid trouble.
The hardest part of the entire of our quest was finally coming to an end. I could feel it in my bones that Taizee’s rule was about to come to an end. We traveled into the heart of a wooded marshland to find her. She had thought her phylactery was still hidden somewhere within it’s depths, but we all knew better. Using a sending stone I had gotten with the hags, I called for the destruction of it. Taizee’s wailing echo could be heard throughout the area. I have to admit my heart truly smiled at that moment. Years of searching and hunting were coming to an end.
The battle was not an easy one even with her little soul jar destroyed. Alanna found out what it felt like to be a squished frog. She was changed by Taizee and a wilderness swamp beast had crushed her in one step. Luckily Advar scooped up the little limp thing and took her to Sarelo, our cleric we brought with us. We fought hard and the final blow to that bitch came from my arrow, but I couldn’t prove it as the group continued to wail upon her fallen body until it was nothing. I knew the location of my brother and the bitch that had taken him was finished. Now only one more thing to consider besides getting him.
We had knowledge of who had destroyed our land and it was about to happen again. We can not rest until we know that the lands were safe again from such mass destruction. We returned back to Thonehold and once again we were to travel. May the gods be with us and deliver us there swiftly and help us to be successful.
Speaking of gods…. I have had a pull to learn about more called The Traveler. I have to admit I sure do a lot of that lately.
