Fey Ancestry. Lia has advantage on saving throws against being charmed, and magic can’t put her to sleep.
Spellcasting. Lia is a 10th level Wizard. Her spellcasting ability is Intelligence (spell save DC 15, +7 to hit with spell attacks). She can cast a spell as a ritual if that spell has the ritual tag and she has the spell prepared. She has the following spells in her spellbook:
Cantrips (at will): blade ward, fire bolt, mending, message, prestidigitation, shocking grasp
1st level (4 slots): charm person, detect magic, find familiar, identify, shield, sleep, thunderwave, unseen servant
2nd level (3 slots): crown of madness, hold person, mirror image, misty step, web
3rd level (3 slots): counterspell, dispel magic, lightning bolt, slow
4th level (3 slots): confusion, conjure minor elementals, greater invisibility, stoneskin
5th level (2 slots): hold monster, legend lore, modify memory
Enchantment Savant. The gold and time Lia must spend to copy an enchantment spell into her spellbook is halved.
Split Enchantment. When Lia casts an enchantment spell of 1st levei or higher that targets only one creature, she can have it target a second creature.
Shoraes’m Aedi (magic dagger +3) Melee Weapon Attack: +6 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d4 +2 piercing damage
Si Palol Shadi (magic dancing longsword). Melee Weapon Attack: +3 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target. Hit: 1d8 -1 slashing damage
Lia can use a bonus action to toss this magic sword into the air and speak the command word. When she does so, the sword begins to hover, flies up to 30 feet, and attacks one creature of her choice within 5 feet of it. The sword uses her attack roll and ability score modifier to damage rolls.
While the sword hovers, she can use a bonus action to cause it to fly up to 30 feet to another spot within 30 feet of her. As part of the same bonus action, she can cause the sword to attack one creature within 5 feet of it.
After the hovering sword attacks for the fourth time, it flies up to 30 feet and tries to return to her hand. If she has no hand free, it falls to the ground at her feet. If the sword has no unobstructed path to Lia, it moves as close to her as it can and then falls to the ground. It also ceases to hover if she grasps it or moves more than 30 feet away from it.
Hypnotic Gaze. Lia’s soft words and enchanting gaze can magically enthrall another creature. As an action, choose one creature that she can see within 5 feet of her. If the target can see or hear her, it must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against Lia’s spell save DC or be charmed by her until the end of her next turn. The charmed creature’s speed drops to 0, and the creature is incapacitated and visibly dazed.
On subsequent turns, she can use her action to maintain this effect, extending its duration until the end of her next turn. However, the effect ends if she moves more than 5 feet away from the creature, if the creature can neither see nor hear her, or if the creature
Once the effect ends, or if the creature succeeds on its initial saving throw against this effect, she can’t use this feature on that creature again until she finishes a long rest.
Instinctive Charm. When a creature Lia can see within 30 feet of her makes an attack roll against her, she can use her reaction to divert the attack, provided that another creature is within the attack’s range. The attacker must make a Wisdom saving throw against her wizard spell save DC. On a failed save, the attacker must target the creature that is closest lo it, not including Lia or itself. If multiple creatures are closest, the attacker chooses which one to target.
On a successful save, Lia can’t use this feature on the attacker again until she finishes a long rest.
Lia must choose to use this feature before knowing whether the attack hits or misses. Creatures that can’t be charmed are immune to this effect.
Lia was born of the line of Siannodel from Aerenal. Her line was one of the first to settle the area of Pylas Talaear, and is widely known as one of the more diplomatic lines among the Aerenal, willing to make trade and friendships in the lands of Khorvaire. The Siannodel line supported Cyre’s right to the crown of Galifar during the Last War, but attempted to maintain friendly relations with other nations as well.
Thanks to Lia’s noble birth, people are inclined to think the best of her. She is welcome in high society, and people assume she has the right to be wherever she is. The common folk make every effort to accommodate her and avoid her displeasure, and other people of high birth treat her as a member of the same social sphere. She can secure an audience with a local noble if she needs to.
