We met a crystal dragon and I can’t say that our meeting went too well. I would have loved to have had some sort of conversation with the beast, but it was just that … a beast.
As we were exploring the upper levels of our most recent building in the mists, we put Armak on guard on the stairwell to the upper levels. We were doing fine in our touring when we heard an awful clank and the tumbling of Armak as he fell down the stairs bloodied and battered. After several attempts to find out what hit him, we discovered a lush garden hidden on the upper level of this building. It was here that the beast lay in wait.
The battle was epic. I tumbled and stabbed throughout the fight, while each one of the others fell into sync with our abilities. Xavier was doing an awesome job in keeping us healed as the swipes, bites, and magic cast upon us nearly wiped us out.
Advar was casting magic that blasted at the beast, although I do question his lightening bolt use on a glass creature. What was he thinking ? Alana beat on it with a viciousness of being a true fighter and Anderwulf synced with strikes on the other side of the beast. Armak plucked away at the creature from a distance with his arrows.
While we were fighting I saw the most handsome elf ever in existance. He was naked and in a cage. It was Lia’s brother. We had found who we were after. I picked the lock and he began to sing and help Lia with the fight.
The fight was a tough one but we prevailed. The beast dropped and we discovered it’s treasure. So much gold and platinum. I am so glad I have my horse to help carry the weight out of here. Now it is up to us to return and get the head of Turgut back. I also discovered a small sealed bottle amongst the treasure horde. Upon opening it a demon lady of some sort came out. Who do I want to kill it asks…. The answer to that is … I will think on it.
